personally, i find the slow down to be completely awesome, really complements the beauty of the rest of the game.

Am I the only one that gets a major slow down during boss battles? It can get really frustrating.

A sad but beautiful tale, wonderfully composed music, unparalleled character development, and and a plot as deep and epic as one could ever ask for... This is on par with FF6 and Chrono Trigger when you first played it. You actually end up feeling for the characters. *tear drop* Simply put, an amazing game. If you are thinking about getting this, don't hesitate =p It is a jewel among jewels.
